CMIF Gains Exciting New Equipment
We have an FEI high-resolution Scanning Electron Microscope, the
NOVA nanoSEM 400, and an FEI cryo-capable Digital TEM, the
Tecnai G2 Spirit. We have added a new
Visitech Infinity 3 Live-Cell Confocal with ultra-fast real-time confocal imaging capability.
If you are interested in Live-Cell Confocal imaging, please feel free to contact the CMIF Director,
Dick Burry, to discuss your live-cell confocal projects. The Visitech Infinity3 Live Cell Confocal may be positioned on either the upright or inverted microscope. Members of the live-cell user-group are starting to use the system and have begun to get scientific results from this exciting new instrument.
We have received two single-photon Olympus confocals as well as adding two-Photon confocal capability. Feel free to contact the CMIF Director
