We will be exchanging the FV3000 Multi microscope for a new FV5000 microscope in November 2026 (exact installation date is to be determined). The FV5000 microscope will have all the same capabilities as the FV3000 Multi microscope plus many improvements as well as new capabilities. If you use the FV3000 Multi, we recommend completing any ongoing experiments on the FV3000 Multi microscope as soon as possible. Images acquired on the FV5000 microscope will not be strictly comparable to those acquired on the FV3000 Multi microscope due to differences in the systems and their imaging performance.
